SubAqua Dive Centre Whangarei was established after the owner became dissatisfied with substandard air fills, so began the process of starting a dive shop for scuba and tech divers by divers.
SubAqua Dive Centre was registered as a company in August 2019, not long before the Covid Pandemic in New Zealand Closed the doors of many organisations, however adversity breeds champions, a true testament to the passion of SubAqua Dive Centre staff to ensure you have the best equipment and service that will ensure you enjoy diving for years to come.

Air, Nitrox Trimix and multiple Gas Mixes are easily accounted for in this computer, and taking it a step further, if you use the transmitter for your gasses, you will have not only a visual indicator of your gas remaining (via the colour light on the transmitter, but each time you use a different gas the computer will recognise the change and alter your deco accordingly.

Winter is a good time to take stock of your gear, and chack what needs servicing, and what needs testing
More often than not, we get tanks bought in for an air fill, and they are out of test.
Now is the best time to have a look at your Dive Cylinders and see if they are needing to be tested (visual or hydro).
If you have a purple ROC (neck tag) or anything other than green or yellow, then the chances are that your cylinder needs a test.
Dont leave it until last minute, and risk a long wait....
Subaqua Dive Centre is not a training organisation, we are a support organisation, that means that we are not run by any training organisation.
This means that from the moment that you enter our store, you are a member of our suba diving family, you will be a diver who is not going to be pushed onto any number of courses run by stores that are affiliated with dive training organisations.
Of course we recommend that you take courses with a reputable organisation, however first and foremost having you diving with quality air and nitrox fills, quality equipment, and quality service.
